About these terms

This website is run by Sanity Cleaning Services, a family-run cleaning business servicing Gympie, its surrounding suburbs and the Mary Valley, Queensland. By using this website or asking us for a quote, you agree to the terms below. Clients who book with us are given our full Client Policies document.

Quotes and pricing

The rates on our prices page are hourly rates per cleaner and include GST. Any quote is based on the details you provide and is not fixed until we have confirmed the job, what is included and the price with you directly. If the property is substantially different from what was described, we may pause and discuss a revised quote before carrying out extra work.

Scope of service and additional tasks

A standard clean includes the tasks agreed in your service plan, quote or regular service arrangement. Additional tasks such as oven cleaning, inside cupboards, wall washing, heavy build-up, mould removal or rubbish removal may require additional time and charges.

Cancellations, rescheduling and access

We ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee. No-shows, same-day cancellations, or occasions where our team attends but cannot access the property may be charged the full scheduled service fee. Please secure pets before we arrive.

Quality and reclean

If you are not happy with any part of your clean, tell us within 24 hours. Where the issue falls inside the agreed scope of service, we will return and address it at no additional cost where that is reasonably practical.

Complaints

We aim to respond to and resolve complaints within 3 business days wherever possible. Please contact the office rather than an individual cleaner.

Equipment, products and chemicals

We use our own low odour, commercial-grade equipment, products and chemicals unless an alternative has been agreed with management before the service. If you ask us to use your own products and we agree, we are not responsible for damage, reduced results or surface issues caused by unsuitable, faulty or incorrectly labelled products.

Health and safety

Work areas need to be free from hazards such as broken glass, unsafe flooring, exposed sharps, aggressive pets or pest infestations. If a property or area is unsafe or beyond the agreed scope, we may pause or decline the service and talk through next steps.
